    I want you to see a picture of the White House. The White House is the home of the President of the USA.

    The White house was one of the first buildings built in Washington, D.C. the White House was built with many large rooms. Some of the rooms were built just for the President and his family. Visitors may not walk through the rooms built for the President’s family.

    Visitors may walk through some parts of the White House. One of the beautiful rooms visitors may walk through has a large picture of George Washington, our first President.

    Notice the green grass and trees outside the White House. Many of the trees were set out by the President who lived there.

The blue color of the sky is due to Rayleigh scattering.  As light moves through the atmosphere, most of the longer wavelengths pass straight through. Little of the red, orange and yellow light is affected by the air.

However, much of the shorter wavelength light is absorbed by the gas molecules. The absorbed blue light is then radiated in different directions. It gets scattered all around the sky. Whichever direction you look, some of this scattered blue light reaches you. Since you see the blue light from everywhere overhead, the sky looks blue.

As you look closer to the horizon, the sky appears much paler in color. To reach you, the scattered blue light must pass through more air. Some of it gets scattered away again in other directions. Less blue light reaches your eyes. The color of the sky near the horizon appears paler or white.

Введення правила.

1. Good writing is based on a  

pattern of ovals and parallel lines. 

2. All small letters start at the top.

3. All the downstrokes are parallel.

4. All similar letters are the same height. 

5. All downstrokes are equidistant. 

6. The space between words

is the width of the small letter o. 

7. Ascenders and descenders are no more

than twice the height of small letters, preferably less. 

8. Capital letters are no higher

than the ascenders, preferably less. 

9. Lines of writing are far enough apart

for ascenders and descenders not to touch. 

10. Letters which finish at the top join horizontally. 

11. Letters which finish at the bottom join diagonally.

 12. Letters which finish on

a stroke moving left, are best left unjoined.
